Our Story
West Peterborough Dance (formerly known as the Jack Hunt Dance and Theatre School) began many years ago under the tuition of Pat Garfield, and was originally based at Bretton Woods Community School before relocating to its present site at Jack Hunt School, Netherton.
Cecchetti Classical Ballet has always been an integral part of the dance school, but over the years it has grown to include Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Students are able to take Ballet Exams with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) and Musical Theatre exams with the London College of Music.
Students have the opportunity to perform in regular performances and shows, as well as participating in a variety of workshops and competitions.
We believe that dance is for everyone, and whether a student enjoys dancing as a hobby or wishes to pursue it as a career we can help them to achieve their potential.
